There's a great alternative to hockey for girls - Ringette. No, not gym ringette, but the version played on ice. Have a player under 10 years old? On September 11, give ringette a try at Mississauga Ringette Association`s Come Try Ringette event at Iceland Arena, Rink 4.

The MRA Ringette / Learn To Skate program is more cost effective than most Learn To Skate programs. Youngsters are motivated to learn skating skills because they get to use them in a game.
