Great Turnout at "Come Try Ringette" in Ann Arbor, Michigan

On February 18, the new Ann Arbor Ringette Narwhals held a Come Try Ringette event.

Francis Losier (@flosier), Ringette Canada, was present, as well as coaches and players from the Chatham Ringette Association. With a turnout of 33 players, the event was a great success.

Congratulations to all!

Definitely a success and we (Ann Arbor Ringette) are kicking off this spring!

It all starts with young players having fun. I see you've started up a ringette equipment/supplies company. That's great! Players need the right equipment.

In Dec. 2012, the U19 tournament will be in London, Ontario (3 hr drive from Ann Arbor). Teams from Europe will be present, and the level of play will be top notch. My daughters really got interested in ringette after they saw AA level of play.

Yes I am actually selling the equipment to help fund Ann Arbor Ringette. I figured it would be a good way to offset expenses. I've already sunk a lot of money into it (ice, loaner equipment, etc.) and I really want to see it flourish.
Our website is at http://www.aaringette.org. There are not a lot of kids signed up yet for the spring session but I am certain that will change.
