It'll be quite a few years before ringette becomes an Olympic sport. More countries have to play ringette at the world championship level. At the 2007 World Ringette Championship in Ottawa, teams participated from Canada, USA, Sweden and Finland.
Canada and Finland dominated and unfortunately, Canada lost to Finland 5-4 in overtime.
We should try and publicize this great Canadian sport whenever we get the chance to do so, just like Tracy Tulloch aka @Ringetteaholic...
