Team Ontario started off the Canada Winter Games with a 6-2 win over Quebec, going up 2 goals within the first 5 minutes of the game.
TSN included a summary of the game in their Day 1 highlight video, naming Leah, Lindsea, Syd, Sarah-Lynne, Molly and Melissa.

On hand in the VIP section of the stands were both Bal Gosal, federal Sports Minister, and Michael Coteau, Ontario's Minister of Tourism, Culture, Sport and Pan Am/Parapan American Games.
Both @balgosal and @couteau went down to rink level after the game to chat with the team.
